At this location, you will find our owners, Jennifer and Gordon Raney, available to help and discuss with you a variety of options to meet you mobility needs. We offer a stair lift showroom featuring five different straight and curved stairlift models available for you to ride and determine which solution is best for you. We also stock many of the top stairlift manufacturers such as Bruno, Harmar, Savaria and Handicare; and can offer quick turnaround times on delivery and installation. Should you be looking for a wheelchair lift, patient lift, or auto lift; we can help you there as well. Our team is trained, certified, insured, and licensed to handle both residential and commercial applications throughout Texas.
While our office is physically located in Richardson, Texas; we absolutely service the entire DFW metroplex and most of North Texas. We routinely do business in Highland Park, University Park, Plano, Allen, McKinney, Frisco, all North Dallas suburbs, Southlake, Grapevine, Denton, Arlington, Fort Worth, East Texas, and North Texas into Southern Oklahoma. Many of our customers are often being released from local hospitals and rehab facilities such as those at Presbyterian and Baylor. We can coordinate with your discharge planner or therapists to ensure that the equipment is available and installed upon your release. 101 Mobility also offers equipment rentals on mobility products such as stair lifts and wheelchair ramps for short term use.
Our Team of Local Mobility Experts
Our team of mobility specialists, installers, and staff members are focused on improving the lives of the customers we serve. Much of our team has personal experience with family members and loved ones needing the equipment we provide. Our owners Jennifer and Gordon Raney are often invited into organizations, hospitals, and school systems to train family and staff on mobility equipment and safe patient handling. They are often asked to publish articles and speak publicly to educate caregivers on options and uses for mobility equipment.
The installation team of 101 Mobility of Dallas and Fort Worth is made up of full time service technicians who are trained and certified in the equipment they install. Many of them hold manufacture designations and we also employ licensed elevator mechanics for those commercial jobs that require it. There is no job that our experienced team can’t handle and we work with many of the area’s top architects, engineers, and contractors on a regular basis.
Meet the Team
Jennifer Raney, President/Owner
Jennifer is the co-owner of 101 Mobility; opening the franchise with her husband in 2012. An active member of our team, you will find her passion to provide quality products and service standards exceptional. She believes in treating every client like her own family. When Jennifer isn’t in the office she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and husband, exploring the outdoors, and rooting on her favorite college football team. Jennifer holds degrees from both Tulane University and NYU.
Gordon Raney, Owner
Gordon has held a variety of roles since starting 101 Mobility including performing installations for several years. He currently is a licensed elevator contractor and a Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS) who loves to interact with customers and perform home and onsite evaluations. Gordon previously worked as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers and an Investment Analyst for Invesco Real Estate. He holds a Finance and an Accounting degree from Tulane University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Josh, Regional Service Manager
Any technical question that you may have about any of our products can be answered by Josh. He’s is a licensed elevator mechanic in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. He is also a trained and certified technician for Bruno, Harmar, Liko, and many more. He’s been with 101 Mobility for almost 7 years and our regional service manager for 4 years. He’s a proud U. S. Marine Corps Veteran and a wonderful family man to his wife, Erin, and two kids, Naomi & Cole.
