Meet Your Local Houston Mobility Experts
Owners Christian and Laurence Fitsch-Mouras and their team of experts are dedicated to providing residents across the Houston metro area with quality mobility solutions and reliable service.
Prior to opening 101 Mobility in Houston, Christian was a CEO for a large corporation and Laurence was a pharmacist. Feeling the desire to do something more meaningful with their lives ( they met while volunteering for a non-profit benefitting disabled children, after all), they discovered the 101 Mobility brand and could not resist the opportunity to impact lives.
The pair have been Houston locals since 2010, when they fell in love with the city. They especially enjoy the wonderful exhibitions at the MFAH and the Menil Collection, going to the theater, especially Stages and Alley Theater, and line-dancing with friends at the Wild West Houston.
Above all, they enjoy meeting with customers and seeing the joy in those who are able to stay in their beloved homes thanks to a stair lift, or get out to visit their new grandchild with the help of a ramp. These impactful moments are the heart and soul of the business, and it is apparent with every interaction with the caring team at 101 Mobility.
When you call the Houston office, you will most likely be greeted by Christy, the Customer Care Manager who makes it her personal goal to ensure flawless customer service through careful listening and expert scheduling. When she’s not working, Christy and her husband, Dave, enjoy volunteering for the Houston Rodeo, where they have been active for many years.
Once Christy schedules your consultation, either in your home or at the beautiful Houston showroom, you will find yourself in the capable hands of one of three factory-trained and certified Mobility Specialists: Aaron, Jeremy, and Christian. All three take pride in their training, and guarantee state-of-the-art installation and service for all 101 Mobility products. Customers often compliment their people skills and problem-solving abilities, key factors in 101 Mobility’s goal to not only fulfill needs, but to delight customers and impact lives in the process.
From initial contact through installation and beyond, you can rely on the team at 101 Mobility in Houston to provide you with quality products and unbeatable service. Contact 101 Mobility Houston today to experience the top-level service and one-on-one care that you deserve for yourself!

Luke’s Story – Houston Remodelers Council Charity Renovation
In 2016, 101 Mobility donated and installed an overhead lift to transition from the bed, or the floor, to the chair, or the other way around. The charity project was completed in conjunction with the Greater Houston Builders’ Association – Remodelers Council, where the first floor of the home was remodeled to accommodate Luke, a 12-year old with cerebral palsy, and his caregivers.
David is so happy with his new home elevator: He invites all his neighbors and friends to come see and try his new toy. He also caught the attention of the homeowner association. The HOA is concerned about the people leaving the neighborhood because they can’t manage their stairs anymore: The next community’s newsletter will…
Steve’s bought himself and his family a big house with a nice suite upstairs for his mother-in-law. His plan was to have a stairlift installed for her. But the curved stairs could not be addressed with a conventional and more affordable straight stairlift: The one staircase branches out to both the foyer and the kitchen…
Craig got himself a gorgeous house by the water, to retire in, with a large deck and a dock for his boat. He is not concerned about flooding because the house and the deck are about 17 feet above water. And guess what, Harvey just proved him right! The dock and the deck are connected…
Darryl is wheelchair bound. Should this prevent him to buy himself a new pickup truck? No, if he could get it equipped with the ideal combination of mobility equipment. Indeed, he bought himself a nice 2017 F150 Super Crew, and turned it in to 101 Mobility. 101 Mobility installed two pieces of equipment in his…
Randy’s office is located just above his shop. As the years went by, it has become more and more difficult for him to get there in the morning and back down in the evening. Let alone leaving the office for lunch, which was not an option anymore. But now, he comes and goes as he…
Like you and me, Victoria loves to visit her friends or go shopping. She enjoys road trips too. Whether to cross the country or to run errands, she needs to travel with her power scooter. But her scooter is too heavy for her to load in her van without assistance; even with the help of…
Liza likes her porch very much. Her house is slightly elevated, which is a good thing in Houston: She kept dry during the latest flooding episodes we experienced in 2015 and 2016. However, it becomes a real problem when one is wheelchair bound, even temporarily, which is what happened to Liza. Liza keeps enjoying her…
What a relief! Juan’s daily trips were limited to going from his bedroom to his office and back, on the second floor of his lovely townhouse, but his Bruno Elite Curved stairlift really changed his life: He now can enjoy his home entirely. He can even go to the fridge himself! His wife does not…
