Because we carry an inventory of mobility products, we are able to service customers for those unforeseen events. 101 Mobility makes every effort to service our customers on their time-line whether it be an emergency repair or new installation. We are qualified, knowledgeable factory-trained, and certified. Jon Thomas, owner, is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).
We provide a complimentary 1-year Service Warranty on all of our products. If your needs are not long term we can provide a rental solution and for those that are not quite sure we offer a Buy Back Program. Our quick response to clients who find themselves unable to move about their home due to an equipment failure is and will always be a top priority. Our technicians are certified across the board on a myriad of mobility equipment products, and are able to quickly access equipment failures and get the equipment up and running usually in the same day. We also take great pride in insuring that the end user and family members are trained on how to use their mobility device properly. If they have problems we will come out to help them free of charge.

101 Mobility is 17 miles Northeast of downtown Indianapolis. Our office/showroom is in close proximity to Community North Hospital, the Castleton Mall, and Castleton Post office. We are one mile from the I69 and 82nd Street Exit. Off of I69 Exit go West on 82nd Street about 1/4 mile.

A little about Jon and Kerry…
During their spare time Jon and Kerry enjoy the variety of restaurants in Broad Ripple, attending concerts at the Vogue & rollerblading and biking on the Monon Trail. They also enjoy the the shops and restaurants on Mass Ave. and Fountain Square in downtown Indianapolis. They enjoy an occasional Colts or Pacers Game, and of course the Indy 500. Jon and Kerry also like to spend time in the vibrant and growing area of Fishers and not far from their house the small town of Fortville where they enjoy the shops and one of their favorite local restaurants, The Foxgardin.

Jon Thomas - Owner
Jon Thomas, owner, a native Minnesotan moved to Indiana with his wife Kerry in 1997. Over the last 20 years Jon has worked in sales and sales management within the medical device industry. This knowledge of the medical industry led him to an ownership opportunity with 101 Mobility. Jon is CAPS Certified by the National Builders Association. Additionally, he has been certified by all accessibility product manufacturers. Jon enjoys his family time, golfing, skiing, hockey, boating and spending time with friends.
Kerry Thomas - Owner
Kerry Thomas, owner, was born in Indianapolis. She grew up in Indianapolis in the Geist area. Kerry graduated from Lawrence North High School and then attended Indiana University in Bloomington and earned a degree in Apparel Merchandising. She lived in Minneapolis, MN for 7 years, working in the buying office for Dayton Hudson, Marshall Fields, and also with Fingerhut, a catalog company. She met her husband Jon in Minneapolis. After having their first child, they moved back to Indiana. She now lives in Fishers with her husband Jon and their three children. Kerry has been a freelance graphic artist for the last 20 years. She enjoys playing tennis, gardening, boating and spending time with her family.
Ed Pilkerton - Owner
Ed Pilkerton, owner, was born in the Baltimore, Maryland area. He has lived in the Indianapolis Geist area for the last 35 years. Ed has experience in business operations and ownership. He is factory trained and certified for Bruno, Harmar & Liko. In Ed’s spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with friends and family.

Mitchell Thomas has lived in the Fishers area his entire life. He graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and currently attends Purdue University studying Environmental Engineering. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, playing golf & hockey, and an occasional snow boarding trip.

About Our Products and Services
At 101 Mobility of Indianapolis we sell, install, repair, and service straight and curved stairlifts for both residential and commercial applications. We are experts in the design and installation of even the most complex and difficult applications. Every staircase and each customer’s needs are unique. This is why we carry a wide variety including those made by: Bruno, Harmar, Handicare, & Savaria. 101 Mobility also offers stairlift rental programs for short term and long term situations and if you are not quite sure if you want to purchase or rent we offer a Buy Back Program. Our certified specialists consider the unique needs of each customer and offer onsite solutions for the end user & their family.
Our Mobility Specialists, Jeremiah, Sam & Mitch, make sure your stairlift is installed and is working properly. They will show the end user and family how to use the stairlift and will insure your home is clean before they leave. Most importantly 101 Mobility holds the required State of Indiana Home Medical Equipment License in accordance with Indiana law. Our Mobility Specialists are full time employees and are manufacturer trained and certified to insure your stairlift is safe and installed correctly.
101 Mobility of Indianapolis offers ADA commercial & residential ramps. Unlike competitors, 101 Mobility has the complete vertical manufacturing process of ramps under control. From extrusion of the aluminum, to the manufacturing, to the shipping to the local warehouse. This ensures the highest quality and no middle man, which means the best value in handicapped ramping. It also gives us the ability to construct custom ramps tailored to accommodate your individual needs. 101 Mobility’s modular handicapped ramping system can be installed quickly without modifications to your home or business and can be removed quickly when they are longer needed. We also carry portable and threshold ramps for rent or purchase.
101 Mobility of Indianapolis is licensed and trained to install residential and commercial vertical platform lifts and inclined platform lifts. Vertical platform lifts function similarly to elevators but are not as expensive. We offer several types of drives to meet customer needs and budgets. Vertical platform lifts can take you anywhere form a couple of inches up to upwards of 20 feet. 101 Mobility of Indianapolis offers a wide variety of vertical platform lifts from: Bruno, Harmar and Savaria. 101 Mobility delivers expert consultation, installation, and ongoing service on your platform lift. We are fortunate to have Hill-Rom in our backyard, Batesville, IN. Liko, a division of Hill Rom, offers a full array of patient care lifts, from overhead ceiling lifts, to sit-to-stand or sit-to-sit lifts. Liko also offers different sling styles and sizes to accommodate these lifts and meet the end users needs.
