We invite you to visit us if you’re in the area – we have a showroom displaying our product line and our full-time staff and installation team is available to answer questions and provide service as necessary.
We are the Kansas City Metropolitan Area’s most trusted full-service provider of mobility and accessibility equipment. We carry top-quality equipment, such as stairlifts, wheelchair ramps, platform lifts, and patient lifts, from the industry’s leading manufacturers, including Bruno Independent Living Aids and Harmar. Not only do sell equipment, but we manage the entire process as well. During each interaction, we will ask questions in order to fully understand our customers and to better identify your specific needs and limitations. When applicable, we will then schedule a free in-home consultation where one of our Mobility Consultants will meet with you in your home, at your convenience, to assess any problem areas. We will then recommend the best mobility solutions for your needs – our specialists are never pushy, though. Our goal is to guide you through finding the best possible solution for your needs, and to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision. Our team handles the installation and / or delivery of each of our products, so you never have to worry about dealing with unsavory third party technicians. We also perform routine equipment maintenance and service as necessary – both on products that we sell, and products sold by other companies.
We are proud to be a locally owned Kansas City area business, alongside other notables such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, Sporting Kansas City, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Sprint Center, Union Station, Country Club Plaza, Sprint, Cerner, Garmin International, H & R Block, World War I Museum, Hallmark/Crown Center, Crossroads District, Power and Light District, and Leawood Town Center.

Our Products & Services
101 Mobility is the Kansas City area’s leading full-service provider of mobility and accessibility solutions. Not only do we sell products manufactured by the industry’s leading brands, but we also offer free on-site consultations, and our expertly trained staff members perform each of our installation, deliveries, and repairs themselves. Some of our most popular products include:
When looking for a straight or curved stair lift for your staircase in the Kansas City area there are many brands and models to consider. 101 Mobility in Lenexa suggests that we schedule a free home consultation to measure and propose the appropriate product and cost of a stair lift. We are a preferred dealer of Bruno stair lifts, proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Their stair lifts have provided thousands of clients improved access within their homes for over 70 years and are the largest manufacturer of stair lifts in North America. All of the lifts attach into the stair treads, with nothing connecting into the walls. We also provide rentals options for short-term needs as they might occur, as well.
101 Mobility in Lenexa, KS offers a wide selection of portable and modular ramp systems available for both purchase and rental. These can provide a solution as small as exiting a front door to a complex modular system that can cover over 40′, when needed. Made from aluminum, the ramps can handle loads of up to 800 lbs.
A great option for improved home accessibility is a Vertical Platform Lift (VPL), also referred to as a wheelchair lift or porch lift. These act as elevators capable of accommodating a wheelchair and person and can travel from a foot up to 14′. Popular in home garages to handle the rise into a home without the large footprint of a ramp system, these typically take up slightly more than a 4′ X 4′ area outside of the door into the garage. VPL’s are also used between floors of a home and even outside applications and can essentially serve as a “poor man’s” elevator. 101 Mobility in Lenexa offers several options in the VPL product line in terms of styles and manufacturers.
In the event you are needing to assist a loved one in the home and aren’t capable of lifting them from their bed and/or transferring them around the home, a patient lift, either on wheels or overhead might be the solution. With these lifts and the use of specially designed slings, the caregiver can lift and move the patient by using a remote control with the lift and sling providing all of the strength and saving the back of the caregiver. These patient lifts come in various designs to accommodate a variety of needs and budgets.
101 Mobility in Lenexa offers sales, installation and service of commercial vertical platform lifts/wheelchair lifts, stair lifts – both curved and straight, custom modular ramp systems and pool lifts to provide accessibility and ADA compliance to commercial businesses, churches, hotels and schools. Our products are also available for rent when short-term needs arise.
