101 Mobility is in the business of changing lives. In 2014, 101 Mobility® businesses served over 10,000 people, including military veterans, children and adults with mobility-related disabilities, as well as the elderly. Though video cameras aren’t always there to capture the fantastic work of our service technicians or ecstatic smiles from our customers, here are a few feel good moments for the books!

  1. Wheelchair-Adaptive Halloween Costume Parade for Codington Elementary
Nearly three years ago, a contact at a local disability resource center introduced 101 Mobility to Ms. Bishop, a Specially Designed Academics – Daily Living teacher at Codington Elementary. Ms. Bishop envisioned a fun and social experience for her kids; 101 Mobility saw an opportunity to make the world’s coolest adaptive costumes. The Costume Parade is now a much-anticipated annual event for students, staff, locals, and press.

  1. Army Staff Sergeant Dillman Gets a NEW and Fully Accessible Home
Homes for Our Troops (non-profit) gathered support in Tampa, FL, to build Army SSG Dillman a fully accessible home due to injuries sustained in Afghanistan.  Our 101 Mobility® Tampa franchisee teamed up with Harmar to donate a porch lift and installation at no cost. Don’t miss the moment at 2:12 when SSG Dillman first enters his new home. [$5,000 franchise fee discount for qualified veterans, related post here].

  1. 101 Mobility Accepts the Ice Bucket Challenge
Watch your favorite support team members at corporate headquarters take on buckets of ice in a chilly pool of water! 101 Mobility raised money to help combat ALS/ Lou Gehrig’s disease and challenged others to do the same.

  1. Friends From the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Enjoy a Rumble in the Jungle
After improving access for local family fun destination, Jungle Rapids, we invited dozens of friends from MDA, The Miracle League, media contacts, and other organizations to celebrate.

  1. Customer Testimonials
