Unsure about the stairlift recommendation. 2 weeks have gone by since the digital layout was performed. We immediately saw the images on Bobs laptop yet still have not seen the contract or placed the order.... so we are looking at a minimum of a month wait before the installation. Also confusing as Glen “sold” us one, (I believe the most expensive), then we were switched to a different model and then Bob came and suggested an entirely different layout and model (which we will probably choose if the plans are ever approved). Hopefully the task proceeds swiftly going forward. Time is important as Ira’s mobility declines daily. I want to believe that once the lift if actually installed and running smooth, my attitude will change for the better.”

I asked how I get my elderly disabled mother to bed? She can't walk up the stairs (hence the chairlift). He said "she'll have to sleep downstairs." I said "Where in a chair? You want me to leave my elderly mother in a chair all night?" He said "I guess that's what will have to happen." I was surprised at his lack of empathy. Luckily, a tech was able to come the next day to fix the chairlift.”

I had to access a local mobility provider which cost me $75 for an assessment and labor of the scooter. Both battery and cord had to be replaced. All pieces of the product should have been checked before you sold the items to ensure it was completely functioning and in good condition. When contacting you for help, not much could be done and I felt there was some resistance from Michelle in rectifying the issue. You also have not offered to refund a cost which was incurred due to your lack of quality control.”

  • “The stairlift, at the top of the stairs, I was too close to the edge of the step resulting in the walker slipping over the step. I was given 2 options, pay another $1600.00 to extend the track or change the chair to a manual one where you lift a lever to turn the chair. My sister couldn’t handle the manual chair so we stuck with the way the lift was installed. It requires someone to be at the top of the stairs to make sure the walker doesn’t go over the step. FYI the battery for the chair can die without warning. Luckily for my sister she was already upstairs when it died. To make matters worse the owner doesn’t keep accurate accounts and I had to show proof that I repaid for the repair bill.”
